Uses of Acidic and Alkaline Ionized Water

Water with pH value above seven is called Alkaline Water. 
Water with pH value below seven is called Acidic Water.  
Normal Drinking Water has pH of 7. 

A Water Ionizer Machine is used to make both alkaline ionized water and acidic ionized water. Drinking alkaline water is beneficial for health, apart from drinking, it can be used for cooking too, and likewise acidic water has numerous uses which range from cleaning to sanitizing. 

Major Uses of Alkaline and Acidic Ionized Water are listed below,

Strong Alkaline (pH 9 – 11)

Effectively cleanse fruits, vegetables, fish and meats without losing their nutrients. Strong alkaline water tenderizes and kills bacteria in fish and meats. Strong alkaline water can be used to remove stains and grease from your clothes, utensils and floors.

Alkaline (pH 7.5 - 9)

Mainly used for drinking and cooking. Start drinking alkaline water from 8 to 8.5 pH ranges for first few weeks then to increase 9 to 9.5 pH ranges. Your pets also can drink alkaline water in this range. Due to its micro clustering property alkaline water provides better hydration, remove toxins from your body. Alkaline water is antioxidant rich so it eliminates the effects of free radicals in your body.

Neutral (pH 7) 

pH 7 is neither alkaline nor acidic. It is called Normal water and it is best suited to drink with medication. Children below 5 years of age are recommended to drink normal water as their body is naturally more alkaline. 

Weak Acidic Water (pH 5 – 6.5)

Weak acidic water is mainly used for skin care. It slows down the signs of aging and controls the growth of acne causing bacteria. Weak acidic water can be used as face wash, aftershave and makeup remover. Regular use of weak acidic water after shampooing will improve your hair’s health.

Acidic Water (pH 3 - 5)

As acidic water is excellent agent to kill bacteria, it is used as natural disinfectant and are used to heal burns, cuts and wounds. Also it can be used to sanitize household equipments, utensils, countertops, floors etc.
